College World

Founded in 1880 , The College World is the oldest surviving campus organization at Adrian College. For 143 years, it has served as the voice of Adrian’s student body. In those years, we have reported on the growth and affairs of an expanding college campus, its hopes and dreams, fears and regrets. The College World has been a record of the feelings of the student body on both national and local issues of importance. We have had such a profound impact on the development and growth of Adrian College that Professor Douglas MacNaughton’s 1994 single-volume history of Adrian College is practically a series of footnotes to the College World.

The official radio station for Adrian College, WVAC is “The Voice of the Bulldogs” broadcasting campus news and a selection of Top 40 and Alternative Rock. Founded in 1960 the student-led station got its start with a pile of donated records and used radio equipment and has evolved over the decades into beloved local radio station for the Adrian community.

ACTV is the home of live broadcasts for all Bulldog athletics. The on-campus broadcast studio provides students interested in broadcasting and sports hands-on learning in the fundamentals of live streaming, play-by-play commentary and other important broadcasting techniques.

Founded in Spring 2021 PRush Creative is a student-run PR Firm at Adrian College. All firm members are members of The Public Relations Student Society of America and have taken a combination of PR, marketing and media production coursework to help you imagine new ways to communicate with your customers.

We are committed to helping non-profits, local government agencies, and small businesses. We are a pro bono agency for two reasons. First, we want public relations advice to be accessible to everyone. Secondly, we are students, and we strive to complete quality, professional work. We ask our clients to recognize when they partner with us we are building a working relationship where both of us learn and grow together as we complete a project.
